Thieves Pull Off $2 Million Jewelry Heist in 30 Seconds Caught on Video

The search is on in New York for a group of robbers who made off with approximately $2.15 million worth of jewelry from a store in the Bronx over the weekend.
The perpetrators managed to carry out the heist in just 30 seconds, according to authorities.
The incident occurred at Rocco’s Jewelry in the Bronx on Friday, August 5, at 2:30 p.m. The store reported that the stolen merchandise was valued at $2.15 million.
Security footage captured one of the suspects approaching the store and waiting to be granted entry. After an employee buzzed him in, the individual, dressed in a white T-shirt, held the door open for three masked individuals in black attire.
According to a police statement, “Once inside the store, the three individuals used a hammer to smash open the display cases and removed a large amount of high-end diamond jewelry.”
The robbers then stuffed the stolen jewelry into bags before fleeing the store on foot in the southbound direction on Webster Avenue.
The surveillance video shows one of the thieves using a hammer to break the glass cases while the others quickly grabbed the jewelry and loaded it into bags.
It appears that the entire heist was meticulously planned and executed within a brief timeframe.
The NYPD has urged anyone with information on the four suspects to step forward and is offering a $3,500 reward for assistance.
